Checkatrade Let Us Down

We were utterly reliant on Checkatrade to source us a competent tradesperson for our home improvement. We joined and posted our project details, but unfortunately, we were left abandoned at sea.

  • The limited quotes we managed to get were simply too expensive.
  • To make matters even worse, their support team was non-existent.

We are very disappointed with Checkatrade and would urge using their services. There are much better alternatives out there. We are saddened by having wasted our resources on this disappointing service.

Checkatrade Left Us High and Dry, Where's the Remedy?

We trusted Checkatrade to connect us with reliable tradespeople. Little did we know we were walking into a nightmare.

After/Upon/Following hiring a plumber/electrician/carpenter from their platform, we ended up with a shoddy/subpar/messy job that cost us a fortune/ dearly/ an arm and a leg. Checkatrade's response/customer service/support has been dismissive/useless/unhelpful, leaving us feeling frustrated/angry/betrayed.

It's clear to us that Checkatrade favors their own profits over the well-being/satisfaction/rights of customers. We demand/request/urge fair compensation/justice/accountability for this injustice/wrongdoing/terrible experience.

Perhaps others have had similar experiences? Join us in demanding that Checkatrade takes responsibility for its actions and provides reparations/redress/resolution to those they've harmed/deceived/let down.

Think twice before you trust Checkatrade. Their whole operation is designed to take your money. They promise the world but they a load of rubbish. You'll be left screwed and nobody at Checkatrade will lift a finger.

It all starts with their sneaky fees, which they hide in the fine print. Then, there's the terrible support that's about as helpful as a chocolate teapot. You can try to get your money back, but it's like chasing ghosts.

So, stay clear of Checkatrade if you value your time.

Was Checkatrade a Total Fraud?

We thought we were doing the right move by using Checkatrade to find a reputable plumber/electrician/contractor. After all, they seemed so trustworthy with their click here vetted traders. Boy, were we wrong! Our experience was nothing short of a disaster.

Then, the communication from the "qualified" trader was lackluster/awful/terrible. He was unprofessional/rude/disrespectful and sent us a quote that was outrageous/ridiculous/way too high. We tried to resolve the issues, but he was adamant/unwilling/stubborn to compromise/negotiate/change.

In the end, we ended up having to hire someone else by this so-called "vetted" trader. Checkatrade's customer service was equally useless/incompetent/unhelpful. They offered us a pathetic excuse/blamed the trader/did nothing.

We're left feeling frustrated and would definitely not recommend Checkatrade for your tradesman needs.

We Flung Money at It, But No Job Done: Checkatrade Fiasco.

My rundown with Checkatrade was a complete shambles. I hired a trader through their platform to carry out some essential home repairs. They appeared reliable at first, but it resulted in a horrendous ordeal.

Even though I transferred the full amount upfront, the work never started. Communication ceased. It's been weeks, and I'm still left with a gaping hole where my sense of security once was.

Checkatrade has been unhelpful throughout this whole process. They provided empty promises. It feels like I've been scammed.
